Downtown Mixed-Use Redevelopment

Plans for development of a six-story mixed use apartment facility included assemblage of ten parcels within a downtown city block in Mobile, Alabama. Historical activities on the properties included automobile sales, a commercial laundry, and a battery manufacturing facility. The project was enrolled in the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP) and a remediation approach was designed to correspond with planned site preparation activities.
