Rapidly fluctuating interest rate pressures were putting the project economics in doubt for this property in Augusta, Georgia. Commitment deadlines required a rapid evaluation of environmental risk and application to the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GEPD) Brownfield Program. Investigation activities were subsequently completed to evaluate a long history of heavy truck repair, manufacturing, and warehousing activities on the property. The project received the final approval of the Brownfield Compliance Status Report within 7 months.
